Jumping Out Of My Body

Jumping out of my body,
Bending forward,
So confused, so scared.
Looking at myself
Swimming through the hard ground.
Movement diminishing,
Speech dissolving,
Hearing fading into silence,
In embrace of love and resistance.
Nothing I ever imagined
To happen to me.

The last two lines of this piece are very intriguing. Do you mean that "Nothing I ever imagined HAS happened to me"? I think the fact that the verb HAS remains implied is important and allows the reader to interpret in several ways....

This piece is so fun! I enjoy the use of all the lively verbs and images. The first three lines are espeically great.
